Drop-in - Chair Yoga - Thursday (60 minute)

Chair yoga is a versatile practice that offers numerous benefits for both the body and mind. It enhances circulation, promotes a sense of well-being, and can help lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, decrease inflammation, and alleviate chronic pain. This practice also strengthens key areas like the legs, upper back, shoulders, and hips while improving balance and flexibility. Part of the class involves some gentle standing poses to find balance.

This practice is accessible to everyone, regardless of physical condition or experience level. We incorporate props such as blocks and yoga straps, which can be adjusted to suit individual preferences, and modifications are very much encouraged.

Best of all, chair yoga is a joyful experience! Together, we laugh, move, and create a sense of community, making it a fun and uplifting way to spend time. At the end of practice, we gently bring awareness to the body with self-massage on the neck, face, and skull. Join us and discover how much better you can feel—mind, body, and spirit!
