Online Restorative Yoga, 60 minute - 6 weeks series

Restorative yoga is a deeply healing and rejuvenating practice that nurtures the body, mind, and heart through meditative stillness and inner work. It is a gentle and passive practice, with no muscular engagement. By embracing stillness, this practice invites you to release stress and quiet the busy mind; it triggers parasympathetic activation that shifts you from "fight-flight" (sympathetic) to rest-and-digest" mode, lowering heart rate and blood pressure. You’ll be guided through a gentle sequence of restorative poses designed to support deep relaxation. Poses are held for longer periods and supported with a variety of props—such as blankets, bolsters, pillows, blocks, and straps to create a fully comfortable and restful experience. Restorative practice allows the body to unwind, muscles to soften, tension to melt away, and balance to be restored. This practice encourages rest, balance, and renewal; it is often described as feeling like “coming home” to a state of loving-kindness.
